Ok, so you wanna know about this Lenice Lake in WA, huh? Alright, I’ll tell ya what I know. It ain’t no fancy place, mind you, just a good ol’ fishin’ spot. You know, the kinda place where you can just sit and relax, throw a line in the water, and forget about all your troubles.
Getting There – It ain’t rocket science
First things first, you gotta get yourself there, right? Now, I ain’t too good with all them fancy directions, but I heard it’s somethin’ like this: you gotta go near this place called Beverly, Washington. Then, you drive east, maybe five miles or so, on this Lower Crab Creek Road. They got a sign there, so you can’t miss it, says “Public Fishing Access”. That’s where you wanna go. And lookie there, they even got one of them little outhouses for ya, so you don’t have to, you know, go behind a bush. It’s also, I heard tell, like, .6 miles north of this Schwana place, on Highway 243. So, you got choices, see?
What’s it like? Well, it’s a lake.
So, what’s it like when you get there? Well, it’s a lake. Water and all. But it’s a nice lake, you know? Not too big, not too small. Just right for fishin’. They say you can walk around it too. Got this here trail that goes all the way around, maybe a mile or so. They call it a “circular trail.” Takes about 20 minutes, they say. I ain’t timed it myself, mind you. I’m too busy fishin’. Easy walkin’ though, so even your old grandma could do it. And the fishin’, that’s the best part. You can catch all kinds of fish in there, I hear. Trout, bass, maybe even some crappie, if you’re lucky. I ain’t no expert, but I know a good fishin’ spot when I see one.
- Good for fishin’
- Easy to get to
- Got a trail for walkin’
- Got a place to, you know, “go”
Fishing at Lenice Lake – Bring your worms!
Now, when you go fishin’, you gotta be prepared. Bring your worms, your hooks, your sinkers, all that good stuff. And don’t forget your fishin’ license! Them game wardens, they don’t mess around. And bring a bucket to put your fish in. Or a stringer, if you’re fancy. Me? I just use an old plastic bag. Works just fine. I ain’t fancy.
What else to do around there? Not much, but that’s the point.
So, you’re done fishin’, and you’re wonderin’ what else to do? Well, there ain’t much else, to be honest. It’s a quiet place, Lenice Lake. That’s kinda the point, ain’t it? You go there to get away from all the hustle and bustle, the noise and the traffic. You go there to relax and enjoy nature. You can sit by the lake, watch the birds, listen to the wind. Or you can take a nap. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with a good nap, I tell ya. But if you really need somethin’ else to do, well, I guess you could drive back to Beverly or Schwana and see what they got. Maybe a diner or somethin’. Get yourself a cup of coffee and a slice of pie. That sounds pretty good right about now.
Final thoughts – Just go!
So, that’s about all I know about Lenice Lake. It ain’t no fancy resort or nothin’, but it’s a good place to go if you want to relax and do some fishin’. It’s easy to get to, got that toilet thing, and it’s just a nice, peaceful spot. So, what are you waitin’ for? Go on and check it out! And tell ‘em ol’… well, never mind who sent ya. Just go and have yourself a good time.
And remember, leave it cleaner than you found it. Don’t be leavin’ your trash all over the place. Nobody likes a litterbug. Pack it in, pack it out, that’s what I always say. Let’s keep Lenice Lake nice for everyone to enjoy.
That’s all I got to say about that. Now get outta here and go fishin’!
