Well, look here, I got some fish to sell, you know, those yellow bullhead catfish. Ain’t nothin’ fancy, just good eatin’. These ain’t them skinny things you see sometimes, no sir, these are plump and healthy. We been raisin’ ’em good, feedin’ ’em right, so they taste real nice.
You want some? I got plenty. They’re kinda yellow lookin’, you can’t miss ’em. Got those little whisker things too, feel ’em if you want, they ain’t gonna bite ya… well, not hard anyways.
- They’re good fried up, you know, with some cornmeal.
- Or you can bake ’em, put some butter and lemon on ’em.
- Heck, you can even make a stew, throw in some potatoes and carrots.
Now, I hear some folks talk about these fish livin’ a long time, like seven years or somethin’. I don’t rightly know about all that. I just know they taste good when they’re cooked up right. And don’t you worry about gettin’ the wrong kind, these ain’t them brown ones or black ones. These are the yellow ones, for sure.
Some folks call ’em spotted bullheads too, or somethin’ like that. But they’re all the same to me, just good eatin’ fish. And they ain’t got all them scales like some fish do, so they’re easier to clean. That’s a good thing, right? Nobody likes cleanin’ fish all day.
I seen some people sellin’ ’em online, on that eBay thing. They got pictures and everything. But you don’t need no fancy pictures, you can see these fish right here, in person. They’re the real deal, I tell ya.
Some folks say they’re farm raised, and I guess that’s true enough. We ain’t catchin’ ’em out of no muddy creek, that’s for sure. We got a good place for ’em, clean water and all that. They’re happy fish, I reckon.
Now, I ain’t got all day to be talkin’ about fish. You want ’em or not? They ain’t gonna stay fresh forever, you know. And don’t be shy about askin’ questions, I’ll tell you what I know. But I ain’t no fancy fish expert, I’m just a fella with some good fish to sell.
So, you gonna take some home? Your family will thank ya, I bet. Nothin’ like a good fish dinner, fills you up and tastes good too. And these yellow bullhead catfish, well, they’re just about the best eatin’ fish around, if you ask me.
I ain’t got no fancy website or nothin’, just me and my fish. And if you’re lucky, I might even throw in a extra one for good measure. So, what do ya say? You gonna take some of these fine yellow bullhead catfish home with ya today? You won’t be sorry, I promise ya that.
